🚦OPEN: Highway 35 has reopened between Highway 26 just east of Government Camp and Hood River after being closed due to the #GrasshopperFire. ODOT crews will continue monitor the situation. They warn drivers that smoke may impact visibility and conditions can change quickly.

Our neighbors to the south are still struggling too. Oregon has over 2.1m acres burned, and have multiple high-activity fires. The #WrightsSpringsFire has seen large growth since ignition, located just outside Klamath Falls, while the #GrasshopperFire shows no sign of stopping.

Prevailing onshore winds are supposed to resume on Friday which will bring back blue skies west of the cascades.
