I went ahead and cleaned up some of the NES work... mostly because I needed to test the #HiDefNES kit as I don't know where my test system is 🤷♂️but also I hated seeing a NES system treated so poorly 🤣

Couldn't help but try and save the #HiDefNES... the NES console can be saved as well... but that's not what I was asked to do. The customer mentioned swapping the kit to a different console. Hopefully by someone that KNOWS what they're doing.

Nice, sleeper #HiDefNES but oof. I really should just send this back... came in for me to fix the Hi-Def NES board that the customer heard a pop and then no power. I assumed it was due to the shit voltage regs that were in the last batch kits but as I dig further.... 😵💫

I haven’t had someone reach out about this in a LONG time. I forgot that was still listed on GameTech’s website.
I miss the #HiDefNES kit but that last round of kits had dirt cheap POS voltage regulators and they weren’t willing to fix them. I might have to help this guy out.

Brought another of my customer's #HiDefNES consoles back from the dead! Installed this sometime mid last year and the customer said it broke on him around Christmas time and would no longer power on. I already knew what's up and replaced U10 and U11 since they're shit. No dice...
Boxed up and ready to head home to it's new owner! Packed well with plenty of cushion. Hopefully makes it before Christmas, who knows with the way things are these days.🤷♂️
I've got 2-3 more #HiDefNES kits I will do my best to try and get a similar lot up before the new year.👍
