W naszej publikacji pokazujemy, że ewolucja SARS-CoV-2 to nie tylko unikanie układu odpornościowego, ale też precyzyjne dostrajanie się do organizmu gospodarza! 👨🔬🧪 Nasze badania wyjaśniają, dlaczego niektóre strategie terapeutyczne okazały się nieskuteczne i wskazują nowe drogi walki z wirusem. Do pewnego stopnia rzucają również światło na pojawianie się nowych wariantów patogenu. No i samo zrozumienie mechanizmów zakażenia jest po prostu fascynujące! 🤓
Co ciekawe, równolegle do eksperymentów w laboratorium prowadziliśmy dzięki świetnej współpracy z Adolfo Poma @PomaResearch & Luis Fernando Cofas-Vargas symulacje komputerowe. Niesamowite było widzieć, jak wyniki z obliczeń pokrywają się z tym, co obserwowaliśmy pod mikroskopem! 🤝💻🔬
