🌎📣 According to UNHCR’s 2026 Projected Global Resettlement Needs (PGRN), Afghans are now the largest refugee population in need of resettlement worldwide — 573,465 people.
UNHCR also states clearly:
“Resettlement is a life-saving solution.”
Yet fewer than 5% of refugees in need were resettled in 2024, and 2025 quotas are the lowest since 2003 — even lower than during COVID-19.
In #Kyrgyzstan, UNHCR-recognized Afghan mandate refugees have remained for 25+ years without legal protection, while their cases have never been submitted for resettlement.
This cannot be explained by limited quotas alone.
UNHCR itself calls for flexible, rotating priorities and impact-driven resettlement.
Excluding recognized Afghan refugees from submission is therefore not a technical constraint.
It is a policy choice — and it contradicts UNHCR’s own global assessments.
Resettlement cannot be called life-saving if it is applied selectively.

Following the regime change in Damascus, Julani’s terrorists unleashed a brutal campaign of violence and ethnic cleansing against minority Islamic sects, driven by the fanatical ideology of Ibn Taymiyya (1263–1328), a medieval Takfiri figure whose teachings fueled this bloodshed. According to his doctrine, Alawites (Nusayris), Ismailis, Druze, and certain Shi'a sects are considered even more dangerous than Jews and Christians.
◽️Ibn Taymiyya declared the Alawites to be completely outside the bounds of Islam, branding them extreme heretics and apostates.
◽️He treated the Druze with the same contempt, portraying them as a covert sect whose beliefs were irreconcilable with Islam.
◽️He reserved his most virulent hatred for Shi'a groups like the Ismailis and Ghalis, accusing them of undermining the very core of the faith.
Once Julani’s gang had finished "cleansing" their domestic house, Christians and Jews are next, because under the grip of extremist ideology, no one is safe. No community is beyond their crosshairs. Even Sunni Muslims would be eliminated if they stood in the way of "purification".
