My boss told me today the reason they were hesitant in the beginning was that I lack a formal CS education but he had a gut feeling that I would catch on quickly. Glad they took a chance. 1st major commit today and turned out great.
But, since I was on opposite side of the scenario, it definitely have me a different perspective of the who, what, where & when of social situations.
I like to think my personal OPSEC is top notch, but after going through this exercise I see opportunity to improve.
