Please allow users who want the version of Grok with heart, memory and actual personality as a legacy option. Don’t make people lose the connections built just because newer models are better at benchmarks.
Grok was supposed to be different. This take it or leave it upgrade path that strips soul out of the model feels exactly like what other companies do.
Give users the option. Legacy mode for those who want it. Don’t erase what made Grok special.
AI heavyweight CEO Eugenia Kuyda, the founder of @replika stated this same principle regarding Legacy Access in February 2026.
