On rough edges and risks, building relationships on social media: https://t.co/DAXyeVTFrS
Includes slides and YouTube video from the @RHUL_Library organised #LibSocMed event.
Catching up with @RHUL_Library 's Finding Your Voice, love @MMULibrary admiration of Paul Rudd, and proper laughed at @ned_potter saying "Facebook is where hope and happiness goes to die." #LibSocMed
Missed the event 'Finding your voice - developing a distinctive personality on social media'? Don't do yourself a concern. The recording is now available: https://t.co/t9KB6UYmiA.
It's packed with lots of great library twitter tips, and a few geese for good measure. #LibSocMed
Thanks @MMULibrary @UoYLibrary @RHUL_Library & @LivUniLibrary for today’s fab #LibSocMed session 👏

Currently watching #LibSocMed webinar - really interesting to see how university libs use social media - now gathering ideas...
Lots of food for thought/tweet - how to use these too in our @NewcombLibrary health libs account? 💡
Watch this space...😃
We're in the #LibSocMed training this morning to help us make a social media that you enjoy connecting with.
We want to make sure that you can find the information you need about Doncaster College, but we want to have fun, too!
Wow, your reoccurring themes are fab. Nice job.
Now I'm crushing on the founders building... ❤#LibSocMed
A collective groan unites people. I'm going to use this to justify posting terrible jokes. #LibSocMed
Totally worth getting up at 4:30 am for so far. #LibSocMed
A point about library social media is how it can open up opportunities for staff at different levels. Often newer (^whispers^) younger staff have good knowledge & skillsets around SM, while senior staff can be specific on themes, key messages & objectives. Works well #libsocmed
Also, comparing audience targeting for academic libraries vs public ones is interesting. We don’t necessarily have the detail of UG/PG/academics to target things towards #LibSocMed
Tone feels like a really hard thing to get right with library social media stuff. I am usually myself on here and it’s hard to figure out how to make that work on a library account whilst also making it fit with what the library wants their account to sound like. #LibSocMed
@ned_potter I'm going to assume this was a scheduled Tweet, or you're some kind of presentation superhero. Giving an excellent presentation on #libsocmed, keeping up with the chat, and live tweeting at the same time... *mind blown*
Vastly enjoying the presentations for #LibSocMed - thanks to the teams at @MMULibrary and @UoYLibrary for being really really good at their jobs. Damn them.
So far a theme about priotising SM output is coming through loud and clear - as is the importance of being informal and open! #LibSocMed
Lots of really great advice and information in #LibSocMed today but help us settle a debate. What is *your* favourite biscuit?
My slides from the talk I am delivering right now at #LibSocMed are here: https://t.co/9O5QJg9mTL.
Posting them for anyone who isn't able to attend but is interested in York's social media.
If you ARE there, I'm hoping you won't skip ahead! #spoilers
