- Nivolumab (NIVO) significantly increases cure rates in Muscle-Invasive Urothelial Carcinoma (MIUC) post-surgery.
- In the trial, NIVO vs. placebo (PBO) showed:
- Higher 10-year mean Disease-Free Survival (DFS): NIVO (4.38-4.47 yrs) vs. PBO (3.61-3.64 yrs).
- Greater cure fraction in NIVO arm: 43.1%-45.1% (NIVO) vs. 36.4%-37.0% (PBO).
- Patients with tumor PD-L1≥1% benefited more from NIVO.
- 10-year DFS for PD-L1≥1% subgroup: 5.54-5.65 yrs (NIVO) vs. 3.54-3.57 yrs (PBO).
