@Jeannotin_Guern @rensharo @PhonologyDaily I know there is a difference. I have always thought it was simply a difference of length, probably because analysing one's spontaneous production is tough, and believing that the written difference (#mourait vs. #mourrait) is an adequate representation is comfortable :-)

Il y a deux ans, Qader Dawoudzai, ancien #interprète #afghan de l'#armée française, #mourrait dans un attentat à #Kaboul. Refusé une fois par la France, il avait supplié le parlement français de sauver sa vie. En vain. N'oublions pas nos auxiliaires d'armée afghans.

Hier, le premier interprète afghan de l'armée française, Qader Daudzai, est mort dans un attentat à Khair Khana dans le nord du #Kaboul. Il avait 10 jours pour ''candidater'' pour la 3e relocalisation pour la France et avait vu sa demande refusée en 2015. @AFPAfPak @KatNarv
