This gets me to my next point. If we want to be *really* honest, the only person who owns the #NeverLockdown title is @KristiNoem. Everyone else--Trump & DeSantis included--locked down, and no fair-minded person can blame them given the unprecedented nature of the pandemic we faced.
Indeed, @RonDeSantis was one of the first governors to really start reopening and questioning much of the "conventional wisdom" foisted on the country by #TheScience™ for which he deserves a lot of credit. @realDonaldTrump joined DeSantis shortly thereafter. Indeed, as early as late April 2020 both men were on board with easing restrictions and reopening (see attached article).
It was @TheDemocrats, the international Left, and all their front groups and institutions (@WHO, the media, unions, #TheScience™ Industrial Complex, neurotic #NeverTrump Faucists, etc.) who fought and resisted every attempt to normalize. As such, it is incumbent on those of us on the Right to remind voters which side was right and which side was oh so wrong.
Indeed, the initial lockdown was justified at the time, given what little information we had, and by attacking people on our side over it, we divide ourselves and give the Democrats a pass for their atrociously destructive and deadly perpetual lockdown, masking, and coercive vaccination policies.
Trump and DeSantis supporters alike need to stop attacking each other on this issue and need to direct their ire on the real enemy--the Leftist Democrats whose policies decimated small businesses and all but destroyed an entire generation of young Americans. It took a Trump judge to finally kick out Biden's airport and airplane mask mandate that lingered all the way through April of 2022, and even today, some Democrats talk about the possibility of re-instituting restrictions, masking and the likes.
Let's knock off the infighting and hang the Democrats' destructive perpetual pandemic policies around their neck like an albatross.
We've got a general election to win, and history demands revenge.

Every day in July of 2020 when compared to July 2021, we had less cases of Covid.
We had no ppl vaxed but yet less cases.
Cases are based on the season we are in, the vax does nothing to deter case counts.

The lockdown must end now and such an abuse of individual rights must NEVER occur again.
We can not allow this be used as a precedent for more lockdowns, we need to ensure people are aware of its harm it caused, to ensure people aren't desensitised to it.
