Top Tweets for #nonLockdownNPI
@sun_in_winter12 @NIHDirector @jeremyfaust @NIH I always emphasize: #nonLockdownNPI... to close down the lockdown paranoids...

@ikepoker @ZubyMusic The most frustrating gap in understanding is the math of transmission, and that #NonLockdownNPI (#HighFiltrationMasks, #CorsiRosenthalBoxes, and #FarUVC) can #KeepRtUnder1 permanently. If every 10 infections generate fewer than 10 subsequent infections, then SARS-2 goes away.
@ChrisCuomo Consider, Chris: it's entirely within our capabilites to #KeepRtUnder1 permanently w/ #NonLockdownNPI, the investment in which will not only pay for itself, but actually boost economic performance β immediately.
A #CleanAirMandate w/ #CleanAirGrants will also kill the flu.

@SMpwrgr Will keep preaching: #NonLockdownNPI can #KeepRtUnder1... permanently.
And not only for SARS-2...

@CRFoundationUK Been advocating for years to standardize #NonLockdownNPI as the means to #KeepRtUnder1 permanently...

@DaliaHasanMD Need to put the finer point on this, Dalia β your assertion is absolutely on point, IF we agree to #KeepRtUnder1. As long as that's the permanent target, #nonLockdownNPI other than #HighFiltrationMasks, should suffice to get us as close to prepandemic normal as is possible...
π€
@michaelmina_lab @edlars53 I would say that, for SARS-2, immunity is now a loaded concept β makes people discount, if not outright ignore, sequelae risk... and, therefore, the ongoing need for #nonLockdownNPI-based prevention...

@FurnessColin I just think the press see IAQ as too nebulous to take up. And they clearly need convincing that it's even possible to #KeepRtUnder1 with #NonLockdownNPI, despite ample evidence that we did just that, repeatedly, over the past four years. But no one...
@Billius27 @LaurenPelley @picardonhealth Wadr, Bill, I'm disappointed with the unchallenged vax-only narrative. If you read her follow-up tweets, it's clear that much of the low uptake is due to people getting repeat infections between jabs, and therefore have to delay β yet crucial #NonLockdownNPI aren't discussed.
π
@deonandan Yup, the only thing that's an actual lockdown is, you know, an actual lockdown... everything else is a #NonLockdownNPI... the cumulative effect of which would, imho, #KeepRtUnder1 permanently... But, for reasons NO ONE WILL EXPLAIN, this socioeconomic math doesn't appeal...

I'd argue that political decision makers need to be, rhetorically, hit over the head with the idea...

Tell me, kids, since we demonstrated repeatedly that we can get Rt<1.0 with #NonLockdownNPI, and the outcome, when we #KeepRtUnder1, is asymptotic to Rt=0.0, what part of that math is in any sense extreme?
It's a global public health kakistocracy...

This sounds a lot like zero-covid.
Is this a good idea now or still an idea which for which you get branded as an extremist and a zealot.
Is Chris Whitty an extremist now?

@ElizaEmTM The completely viable choice to #KeepRtUnder1 has an asymptotic outcome...

@CPHO_Canada Except, Theresa, as a community of SARS-2 safety-aware people navigating an ocean of unmasked, gaslit viral vectors... we are UTTERLY alone.

@michaelmina_lab Want to make a difference now, Michael? Advocate for establishing a #CleanAirModelCommunity β it will prove that it's entirely doable, even with the "omicrons", to #KeepRtUnder1 by implementing a robust array of #NonLockdownNPI.

End the insanity, Theresa β #SayCovidIsAirborne, have @CIHR_IRSC fund a #CleanAirModelCommunity, establish a #NonLockdownNPI framework for #CovidElimination as official federal policy, provide #CleanAirGrants, provide #FreeN95sForAll... and end #LongCovidKids.

Bangladesh has eliminated lymphatic filariasis (sometimes referred to as "elephantiasis"), a significant public health success story.
This is a mosquito transmitted illness causing major swelling, usually in the legs, resulting in profound morbidity.

@scott_squires @CDCgov Still only the third #NonLockdownNPI priority, after #DropletDogma hand-hygiene AND "elbow coughing/sneezing"...

@brownecfm Rational SARS-2 policy is clearly out of reach for large jurisdictions β we must scale back our ambitions. So, any chance, Conor, one/+ of your clients would sponsor a #CleanAirModelCommunity? Probs the best way to demo comprehensive #NonLockdownNPI efficacy anyway.

We all knew this day was not long in arriving... but I'm beyond taken aback by the unfettered party vibe, as vulnerable households, like ours, are forced to backfill for the absence of reasonable #NonLockdownNPI protections, bc the @who refuses to #SayCovidIsAirborne.

How can the leadership at WHO be so indifferent and blind to the deaths and suffering that has resulted from their scandalous denial of AIRBORNE transmission campaign?
A call for pride is misplaced, arrogant and dismissive of the unnecessary harm they have caused.
Is this #ProudtobeWHO call, a group denial of reality?
A call to ignore and not to reflect on their failures to prevent or control a pandemic that should have been avoided.
