King George Park before fog rolled in was quiet for grounded migrants. But a Hobby(!) in-off skimming the clifftop was my first for the patch! As were two #patchgold Mallards on the sea. Otherwise 18 Swallows and 2 Sand Martins in-off #PWC2026 https://t.co/WiVzI7xtCP

Stanford Reservoir - unexpected #patchgold with this smart drake Ring-necked Duck. Patch tick and only the 2nd record for the site, the first in 1978. Whimbrel yesterday keeps the #PWC2026 total ticking along nicely. @rg_stanford @LandRbirds

Stanford Reservoir - 3 Bar-tailed Godwits were a bit of #patchgold on Wednesday 22nd April, my first since a group of 6 flew through in 2020. A lovely looking wader in my opinion and great to have on the patch, albeit briefly. @LandRbirds @rg_stanford

A cracking Wheatear at Dowdeswell Reservoir yesterday (no sign early this morning). Only my second ever there after a bird on 23rd April 2012. #patchgold #Glosbirds.
