The blossom of the apple trees (‘Doctor Harvey’ and ‘Dumelow’s Seedling’) at #quebechouse is still holding on.
‘Doctor Harvey’ is one of the oldest English cooking apple varieties. ‘Dumelow’s Seedling’ is a late harvesting cooker that keeps well into the following year.

Today I am working at #QuebecHouse, the home of General James Wolfe who led British troops at the #BattleOfQuebec in 1759 but was mortally wounded in battle.
In 1772, at the request of the PM William Pitt, a monumental memorial to Wolfe was installed in #WestminsterAbbey.

A long overdue trip to #WestminsterAbbey to see the incredible memorial to General James Wolfe.
An 18th century print of the memorial's design is in our collection at his birthplace #QuebecHouse @nationaltrust (https://t.co/YRpvnRJwhT) but seeing it in the flesh is breathtaking.
Thinking of those unhappy with their #ALevel results.I was gutted with my B in history and thought my dream of a career in it was over.
