#lesson1 The fact that stands out to me from #reading1 is that the postal service represents a part of social media's definition...it's so true! They both include messages being sent out over distances - big or small!

As the fight against Net Neutrality urges on, big tech companies like Google and Facebook continue to back lawsuits against net neutrality however I believe that net neutrality is at its all time low and will not be rising anytime soon. #reading1 #ubart320

It's alarming that net neutrality no longer exists. even if its in the best interest of companies to promote open access to the internet I still believe the gov. should enforce some boundaries. paying for internet should mean quality access no matter what #ubart320 #reading1

#ubart320 #reading1 It's surprising and not that NN went through so quickly. Any consumer would hate reduced speed but big companies would push for it. They pushed it through during a Republican dominated Congress and now Dems want to reverse it. It really hurts startups.

#art320 #reading1 It's scary how fast Net Neutrality passed through Congress. Service providers can control our online activity with us not really knowing. I remember it being a big deal and now we hear nothing about it anymore until these midterm elections.

With the way things are going after the removal of net neutrality, the ideas of what defines freedom of speech and and freedom of information seems to be warping/loosening slowly making way for a new system of censorship and oppression #ubart320 #reading1
