India has decided to join the 'AI race'. India, as the most populous country with a huge number of talented computer scientists (their number is increasing rapidly every year), has immense potential.
If it decides to invest serious resources, India could contribute significantly to the development of AI.
This would further accelerate the already rapidly advancing AI industry and help us achieve ASI sooner.
This is what both the #RedQueenEffect leading up to the #Singularity feels/looks like.
The investors are too busy thinking about their next trade.
The tech bros are too busy looking myopically at the benchmarks (like this post from Qwen and others we'll see from here on out.)
Those in governing roles, are too busy thinking about how to ringfence this for geopolitical chess moves.

9/ Munger’s loom story is a classic case of ignoring second-order effects.
$BRK saw efficiency gains (1st order) but didn’t ask:
- Where will this value flow?
- Will it strengthen our competitive position, or just create a race to the bottom? (#RedQueenEffect)
It's true.
But the models, no matter how big/strong/wide was never truly a moat.
It more mimics the #RedQueenEffect.
And it'll only accelerate until all models converge (if not already) and until we reach #AGI and #ASI and then #recursion will do the rest, provided there is enough compute/energy.
Though I'd imagine #ASI to reduce either of those inputs to be an unimaginable fraction of what they are now.
And then ironically all unknowns will be known and all unknowns that will be left are in the far crevices of the individual human mind and heart.
