Another department funded by taxpayers at City Hall is not the answer no matter what the smiling idiots in this picture think.
Billions of dollars have been spent on violence prevention in my lifetime, billions wasted. Chicago violence is a cultural issue & no amount of money will change culture.

Mayor Brandon Johnson declared a ‘Transfemicide State of Emergency Declaration’ in Chicago, claiming transgender people were being mass murdered
Only one problem. After launching the task force to deal with it, they found ZERO, not a single trans person had been killed
“I mean, this is a genocide, remember, a state of emergency. The mayor has made a task force to deal with it. Well, as it happens, after looking into it, the answer is zero”
ZERO trans-identified people were murdered in the city of Chicago or anywhere else in the state in 2025
“So this is the first genocide in history to kill zero people”
Ready for this, I found nationwide there are only about 7 reported potential Trans homicides and only 184- low 500s hate crime incidents like this per year
But let’s compare that to hate crimes against races
- Anti-Black or African American bias: Approximately 3,004 incidents
- Anti-White bias: Approximately 815 incidents
- Anti-Hispanic or Latino bias: Approximately 797 incidents
But we need a state of emergency for incidents for transgenders……
Democrats are corrupt
I stopped by to visit Ms. McKeela Wilson, owner of Universal Concepts Office Center.
Ms. Wilson has made sure Chicago Flips Red continues to receive our mail and packages, and that kind of reliability matters.
During our conversation, she shared that she had considered closing her business because she received no support from the city or her alderman, and it has been difficult to keep up with the bills. She's hanging on, but like so many small business owners, she needs support, not empty promises.
She also owns a barbershop and told me that grant funding could help her with things like a new sign and advertising to attract more customers.
This is exactly what I've been talking about. Too many small businesses are closing because they don't receive the support they need from the city or even from the communities they serve. Small businesses are the bloodline of our neighborhoods. When they close, jobs disappear, services disappear, and entire commercial corridors begin to decline.
Please support Universal Concepts Office Center, a trusted and reliable neighborhood business for:
Mailbox rentals
Shipping & receiving
Packing supplies
Copying & faxing
As Mayor, I will fight to make sure small businesses have access to grants, streamlined permits, lower unnecessary fees, safer commercial corridors, and the resources they need to grow and succeed.
My administration will invest in every neighborhood, not just downtown, because every community deserves the opportunity to thrive.
Ms. Wilson, we appreciate you, thank you for your years of service to our community, and we hope to remain lifetime customers. Let's support the businesses that continue to support us.
Chicagoans First.

SLAVERY? - This guy is literally NUTS
Slavery was abolished in 1865 and I doubt that 161 years later any by product of slavery now influences America to the detriment of the Black Community
You Brandon Johnson and Black enablers like you are the reason why Black Chicagoans continue their downward spiral
You enable the Black community to justify failure by placing blame on everyone but those who deserve it the most, the Black community
STOP PLAYING THE BLAME GAME and hold all people, both Black and White, accountable for their actions and demand inward change
Once again, one of the few adults in the City Council, @RaymondALopez, asks why, with federal officials in Chicago addressing crime, the mayor won't ask the feds for help.
We all know the answer: @ChicagosMayor won't allow it.
Mayor Johnson is the biggest obstacle to getting crime under control in Chicago.
Chicago mayor is blaming Trump and racism for the crime happening in Chicago.
Is this guy delusional?
Brandon Johnson needs to stop making excuses and start taking responsibility for the city he was elected to lead. Young people are dying, families are suffering, and violence continues to destroy Chicago communities while he points fingers at everyone except himself.
He needs to look in the mirror, crack down on crime, and do his job.
🚨⚡ RAW VIDEO: I Warned Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson About Juneteenth Violence. He Ignored It. Chicago Paid the Price.
Last week, I warned Mayor Brandon Johnson that Juneteenth has historically been one of Chicago's most violent weekends and asked if he would accept President Trump's offer to help. He dismissed the warning, rejected the help, and called President Trump an "absolute miserable failure."
Then came the weekend: 8 murdered, 39 shot, including a Juneteenth mass shooting.
Today, I reminded the Mayor that I warned him this was coming and asked the question real Chicagoans are asking: after 8 murders and 39 shootings, who is the real miserable failure?
He never answered. Instead, he blamed everyone else.
I also asked why Chicago is down roughly 2,000 police officers while he and his wife, Stacy, are protected by a security detail of more than 150 officers. If Chicago is so safe, why not put some of those officers back on the streets to protect real Chicagoans?
When I kept pressing, Mayor Johnson tried to shut me down. I reminded him that I have First Amendment rights. His response: "You can just free yourself on out of here because I'm not answering anything else from you."
Then, when I exited the press room, four Chicago Police officers were waiting for me. In my opinion, that wasn't a coincidence. It was intimidation.
I warned him. He ignored it. Chicago paid the price. That's the opinion of this reporter.
An illegal immigrant who worked as a teacher in Illinois has been arrested by ICE and is accused of driving two alleged Tren de Aragua gunmen to a Chicago house party where they opened fire, killing three people and injuring five others.
She entered the United States in 2021 on a visa waiver and allegedly never left. After the December 2024 massacre,
Chicago police arrested her, and weapons were reportedly found in her vehicle.
According to reports, sanctuary policies prevented cooperation with federal immigration authorities, and she was released without ICE being notified. ICE later arrested her, and the alleged shooters are now in federal custody.
As Mayor, I will put Chicagoans first. I will fight to end Chicago's sanctuary city policies, fully cooperate with federal law enforcement, and ensure that individuals who pose a threat to public safety are reported to the appropriate authorities.
My administration will prioritize the safety of citizens, support law enforcement, target violent criminal organizations, and demand accountability from elected officials whose policies put our communities at risk.
Public safety is not political. Every Chicagoan deserves safe neighborhoods, safe schools, safe public transportation, and safe streets.
My administration will focus on protecting families, restoring law and order, and making Chicago a city where citizens come first.

The lack of coverage by Chicago News media is apalling.
This interview was from August 2025. I testified in front of Congress, both the House and the Senate, twice in one year, as a Black woman from the South Side of Chicago makinghistory. I’ve also appeared on national media platforms many times including @NEWSMAX , and @FoxNews, and @JesseBWatters and I appreciate those outlets for giving me the opportunity to speak about whats really happening in Chicago.I told the world that we were known as Chiraq.
Local Chicago media, which I believe has acted as a false prophet outlet in many cases, has tried not to platform me or give me a fair opportunity to share my perspective.
I have consistently raised concerns about public safety, the lack of accountability in how taxpayer dollars are spent, and what I view as waste, fraud, and abuse within Chicago city systems, and CTU ChicagoTeachers Union/ CPS.
I’ve also spoken out about the conditions in our communities and the urgent need to address violence, including the reality of ongoing mass shootings that citizens are experiencing.
I believe local Chicago media often does not platform voices like mine because I challenge their narrative. However, my focus has always been the same. advocating for the citizens of Chicago and demanding safer neighborhoods, financial transparency, and stronger oversight of how public funds are used.
As I continue this mayoral campaign, these issues remain at the center of my platform, public safety, fiscal accountability, and ensuring that every community in Chicago is heard and protected.

39 shot, 8 dead in Chicago this weekend. The city's solution? Another government bureaucracy.
Instead of fixing the actual crisis, Deputy Mayor Emmanuel Andre and progressive aldermen want to drop $100 million on a brand-new "Department of Gun Violence Reduction.
This move just locks in permanent funding for Brandon Johnson's political allies and shields the failed Office of Community Safety from being cut by future administrations. Upgrading an office into a department creates a cushy new commissioner job and more city hall staff, but it won't stop the bullets.
Over forty ppl were shot this weekend in Chicago, at least a dozen ppl were robbed, there were at least two smash & grabs & read somewhere a woman was sexually assaulted downtown.
This stupid fuck is worried about this.

Brandon Johnson declared a state of emergency for trans people.
Guess how many trans people were kiIIed in Chicago in the past year?
One.
He was kiIIed by his boyfriend. It had nothing to do with his trans identity.
Meanwhile every single weekend there are dozens of shooting and multiple fatalities.
Every. Single. Weekend.
Why doesn’t Brandon Johnson declare a state of emergency for the actual violence in his city?
Chicago Flips Red a Conservative/Freedmen (Republican) group.. that gets called many names such as “uneducated” for showing the side mainstream media refuses to show, Chicago Flips Red just want to know one thing: why was George Zimmerman never truly held accountable after the not-guilty verdict on June 13, 2013?
President Barack Obama 🌈 championed every cause under the sun, but when it came to a Black boy who could have been your own son, the justice system gave us nothing.
On June 26, 2015, the White House lit up in rainbow colors, and President Barack Obama 🌈 said:
“I didn’t have the chance to comment on how good the White House looked in rainbow colors … to see people gathered in the evening on a beautiful summer night and to feel whole and to feel accepted and to feel they had a right to love, that was pretty cool. That was a good thing.”
Eric Holder was Barack Obama’s Attorney General. Somehow, this country found the energy to lock up former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, but not George Zimmerman.
History doesn’t just disappear. If you choose Joe Biden as your vice president the same Joe Biden who helped push the 1994 crime bill that devastated Black families and communities then no, it is not shocking that Trayvon Martin never got justice either.
We are always treated like big business in America our pain, our votes, our culture, our bodies, our neighborhoods but somehow, we never see the return as a people.
It has always been America.
Now they want 99-year leases for $10 on all of us.
The Obama Special.🌹🇺🇸

Hello Chicagoans
Little Village, Pilsen, communities across the West Side, and Northside are Next.
I recently went over to the South Shore community, from 75th and Exchange to 75th and Jeffery, to talk with citizens today, I visit local businesses, and see firsthand what is happening in the neighborhood.
South Shore is very dear to me because it's where I grew up. From ages 1 to 14, I lived at 68th and Paxton. From age 14 on, I lived at 74th and South Shore Drive, and later raised my children on 76th and South Shore Drive. I also attended South Shore High School.
I wanted to go back to the community that helped shape me, listen to the people who live there, and see for myself the challenges, that exist today. I took videos and spoke with citizens, and business owners, and I will be sharing those videos soon.
This is just the beginning. I will also be visiting . My goal is to make my way through every neighborhood, listen to the citizens, and learn directly from the people who call these communities home.
I love you all, and thank you for allowing me to hear your concerns, your ideas, and your hopes for the future of our city.

I was tagged in several videos on social media from people on the South Side showing trees still down in the streets, debris everywhere, and entire blocks that residents couldn't even get through because roads were still blocked.
I told them I would address this to the City Council.
Look, guys, if we want change, we must vote for change. We have to vote differently. You cannot keep putting the same people in office and expect different results. This is going to keep happening because the people you elect are not being held accountable, and too often they don't seem to care about the basic services our communities deserve.
I will hold them accountable. I will make sure our communities receive the basic city services we pay for with our tax dollars. This is all I've been asking for, pushing for, and advocating for, that our tax dollars be spent on us, making our neighborhoods safer, cleaner, and better for the people who live here.
That's why, when I'm Mayor. I will conduct forensic audits of every city department and make the results public so you can see exactly where your money has been going.
Please visit my website, review my platform, and if you agree with my policies, I respectfully ask for your vote.
