Participating in the opening of the #UNGA #SecondCommittee session, I underscored the imperative of elevating international cooperation in the coming years to achieve the 2030 #SDGs, ensuring that no one is left behind and that global partnerships be based on common but differentiated responsibilities.
Furthermore, I highlighted the significance of streamlining efforts of all development partners for a more stable macroeconomic landscape, advocating for profound reforms in the global financial architecture and international funding institutions.
I also emphasized the risks of ecological challenges & climate change, particularly water scarcity, stressing the urgent need to address #water scarcity and water security challenges.
I also reiterate the necessity of more creative strategies to tackle the increasing financial needs of developing countries.
