I'm happy to announce that we (@MalihehIzadi @avandeursen) won first place in the @NLBSE_workshop code comment classification competition with STACC, a set of lightweight @huggingface #SetFit-based classifiers. STACC was able to improve over the baseline in every category. 1/2

We built an @IPTC text classifier using #BERTopic, #RoBERTa & #SetFit models with up to 32 news topics and up to 93% accuracy. #fewshotlearning meant English training needed only 320 samples! It will be presented @iwannConference. Part of @GENTIO project funded by @BMKlimaschutz

Amazon's multilingual review ds is a large dataset of customer reviews in several languages. I reframed it as a binary classification problem and by using #SetFit w/ ONLY 16 examples per class I reached 70% in the test set! https://t.co/Q4jq8rarnB

Dealing with data that has few to no labels? 🤔 Did you know @huggingface #SetFit? It is an efficient framework for few-shot fine-tuning of Sentence Transformers that achieves high accuracy with little labeled data (8 examples per class). 👇
