@ONT_Dad So the #splitattentionmodel can be implemented, parents get upset at the lack of attention their kid is receiving & wealthier parents then enrol their kids in private school. Parents who can't afford private have kids suffer thru a subpar education system. All according to plan.

How can you mandate virtual learning and not fund it properly? It shouldn’t be on the back of kids to save a buck and learn in a more stressful environment. INSIST on smaller class sizes and designated remote learning classes. Put a stop to #FracturedLearning #SplitAttentionModel

@gator_gum No way in hell I was asked and I have 2 kids in @YRDSB. I'd remember being asked such a ridiculous question. The only reason to implement the #splitattentionmodel is to save $. We know this. My kids will not get the attention they deserve & I don't blame teachers @YRDSBDirector
1/ #hybrid or what @PeelSchools is calling Community Learning Model presents lots of challenges. Internet is unreliable in children’s home. Kids are dropped multiple times during the day. Do educators stop what they are doing in class & wait for them to get back in?
