For 60+ years people have found "unbelievable" what Douglas McGregor said: That #TheoryX people do not exist.
For 5+ years people have found "unbelievable" what we in the BetaCodex Network say: That transformation from command&control to Beta can be achieved in just 90 days.
“Choosing learning over performance paradoxically ensures organizational performance—as well as career success.”
New article w/ the brilliant @drtcp on why an unhealthy obsession w/ performance causes more harm than good.. & why we should always prioritize learning over knowing!
@maschmeyer Grupp ist ein aus der Zeit gefallener Anhänger der #TheoryX mit Omnipotenz-Fantasien. Wer qualifiziert und motiviert ist, arbeitet i. d. R. auch produktiv im #Homeoffice.
They think you gotta “rule with an iron fist” and they make HOW much money?!? Learning to treat people right shouldn’t be that hard.

@TendaiDara I see what you guys are doing and it is remarkable. Considering the environment you are operating in, I would say you'd be 10x bigger in the next 5 years.
I believe there's one more big thing you are yet to do.

Because (I guess) McGregor wrote it at a time when leadership was perceived through the lens of whiteness.
Rather than inclusion & diversity

I'm having a look on the net for an informative, easy to read article on "Theory X & Theory Y" (a classic framework on leadership mindsets). Why is it that nearly every article with a graphic of a leadership figure uses a white man in a suit? Other kinds of people are leaders too
