As you can see the models vary significantly in snowfall totals even with the storm being less than 24 hours out. I’m usions Kuchera ratio because it’s more accurate and not locked at 10:1. #nswx #nsstorm #weatherbell #wxmodels

Ensembles are one way we analyze model or forecast uncertainty. Below we see the GEFS average ensemble solutions for 1,3, and 7 days from now. Further up the color bar means larger uncertainty for a specific area. Small initial changes go a long way🦋. #butterflyeffect #wxmodels

#westkywx #wxmodels I’m not sure that I’ve ever see such a confused temp anomaly map. Granted, this is a 384 hr screenshot. Still, haven’t see this. Throw the new GFS away. It is not worth anything!
