Tiny prototype of #XR cards with #Oculus #Quest #Link and #ZedMini. My laptop sadly only handle ~20 FPS with #VR + #OpenCV for #Aruco markers + screen recording.

Early 2020 I was able to directly (no pc tethered) connect a #ZedMini to my #Oculus #Quest to do some #AR #MR #XR #passthrough. Since then, I wasn't able to solve the #Unity #Android AAR plugin to get the same framerate as in my old video here... Can someone help?

@JoshuaCorvinus @Sean_McBeth That's an interesting possibility! For the moment, I'm more focused on using it as a passthrough camera as described in the thread https://t.co/be0zP8QquJ And I've also buyed a #zedMini on ebay recently, so colored passthrough will come soon without any pc involved!

It was really cool to use #LeapMotion as a passthrough camera for the #oculus #quest as you can see in the previous thread. Next step: #ZedMini on #quest for some colored augmented reality!

After that, I was able to display the undistorted images to each eyes and play with some leap parameters as exposure, gain, linear space, ... Now, I'm working on how to merge real and virtual world, and that's not easy because of the alignment problem described int the link below
