I’m gonna say this again because it seems you CANNOT understand, once Palestine is free, a lot of the settlers will leave on their own as they become equal to the Palestinians, they will just go back to where they came from simply because they lost their privilege and superiority
Don't bother them at dinner don't protest at church don't disrupt evening or morning commutes. Y'all really out here telling people to pencil in an appropriate time to meet and discuss the possibilities of ending a genocide. Respectability politics got you in a fucking chokehold.
Don’t you people get it yet? Your prizes and awards mean nothing to the world anymore. Has the Pulitzer Prize committee said a word about Palestinian journalists being systematically assassinated by Israel? Wael al Dahdouh is worth more than all your prizes combined.
Motaz is right. How "free" are we in the west if we are telling our gov'ts to stop this assault on Gazans and they aren't listening? Also, not saying "no" to Isr@el is a damning condemnation abt who the world values and who it doesn't.
Julian Assange will face his last trail before he is extradited to the US for exposing war criminals…
Benjamin Netanyahu will face the International Criminal Court for committing actual war crimes…
One of these men will never be free, the other will never be charged.
@sasa_ghada White people told themselves that their evil is human nature. So when black people refuse to pay them in kind, they have to admit they were wrong and are actually the barbarous ones. They don’t wanna do that part because then it’s a complete loss of their white identity.
This is sooo wild & interesting:
"Many white South Africans told me that Black forgiveness felt like a slap on the face. By not acting toward you as you acted toward us, we’re showing you up, white South Africans seemed to hear. You’ll owe us a debt of gratitude forever."
It's as if the entire world (except Malaysia and the 3 states directly involved) is pretending like South Africa did not file an application before the ICJ a few days ago. It's kind of jarring.
The juxtaposition in this video is astounding for two reasons:
1. The fact that almost every single person is recording on their phone, there is no apparent collective joy. From this angle it feels as if almost nobody is truly living in or cherishing the moment.
2. Then in the center of the crowd are a courageous but small group of people trying to bring attention to the slaughter in Palestine, waving the flag.
That juxtaposition: The attendees’ apparent disconnection from real life and the people around them in order to record a moment digitally, while people right in front of them are literally begging for innocent lives to be saved — This shot could be a @blackmirror episode.
15 years ago Obama gave support to the Saudis who indiscriminately bombed Yemeni children. Those children grew up to be the Houthis attacking cargo ships in the Red Sea. Do you see where this going in relation to Israel? Orphans today will fight in future. The US weapons 1/2
In 2005 an Israeli Soldier emptied his entire magazine (17 bullets) into a 13 year old Palestinian schoolgirl.
He said he would do the same if she was a 3 year old.
The young girl was shot in her arms, legs, hands, chest and 3 times in her face.
The Israeli soldier was given NOT GUILTY by an Israeli Military Court

‘People get used to anything. The less you think about your oppression, the more your tolerance for it grows. After a while, people just think oppression is the normal state of things. But to become free, you have to be acutely aware of being a slave.’
