@SarahHuckabee I never expected you to slander and vilify the very people who support you, but nothing surprises me anymore. I regret standing up for you when you were slandered and I won’t defend you again.
Bishop Fulton J. Sheen, 1965 — warning America decades ahead of his time:
“False compassion… is a pity shown not to the mugged, but to the mugger; not to the family of the murdered, but to the murderer.”
He predicted nations would be ruined not by wars, but by this twisted “mercy” that protects criminals and ignores victims.
Watch this prophetic clip. Still true. Still urgent.

Today the Church honors the Most Holy Name of Mary!
The feast of the Most Holy Name of Mary celebrates the great privileges given to Mary and all the graces we receive through her intercession.
To say her name is to utter a word of hope.
This word of hope proclaims our salvation, for Mary was created to be the Mother of our Savior.
She invites us to call upon her name frequently and persistently, for she delights to hear and answer our prayers.
This feast was added to the calendar by Blessed Innocent XI in thanksgiving for the deliverance of Vienna from the Ottoman siege on September 12, 1683.
The victorious Christian commander at Vienna, Polish king Jan Sobieski, had previously entrusted his army to Mary’s protection before the image of Our Lady of Częstochowa, pray for us.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us!

Today’s Gospel is tough, but The Way.
Love your enemies. (Luke 6:27)
Let’s be honest, this is one of the hardest commands Jesus has given us.
Just think about how many aspects of life in this world are built on the idea of triumphing over your enemies or crushing the competition. You see it most clearly in business and military conflicts, but it can also show up at work, in neighborhoods, and in families at times.
Even a glimpse into our own hearts reveals a similar pattern: when you learn that someone “hates” you, the immediate instinct quite often is not to forgive them but to hate them back. If someone treats you poorly, it’s not unusual to want to strike back at them.
But Jesus commands us to love our enemies, the total opposite of all of this.
How can we possibly live it out? By fixing our eyes on him.
In the face of all the enmity, indifference, and hatred he encountered, Jesus returned love. Even when he suffered the hatred of those who crucified him, he responded, “Father, forgive” (Luke 23:34).
Jesus is calling us to treat everyone around us with his kindness, regardless of how they treat us. He wants them to be struck to the heart when they see our love. He wants them to be moved to seek out the One whose love they see in us.
Yes, Jesus’ command is challenging. But he knows how hard it can be. That’s why he is always with you, offering you his grace and help. And it’s why he is also ready to forgive you when you fall short.
Just remember that every time you choose love—especially in the face of hatred or opposition—you are joining Jesus in his mission of building his kingdom.
Every time you find the grace to put aside selfishness, you are making room for his joy and his peace.
And every time you reject the false wisdom of an eye for an eye, you open yourself to the true wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit.
So try your best to “love your enemies” (Luke 6:27).
Resolve to “do good to those who hate you” (6:27).
“Stop condemning” and offer mercy instead (6:37).
You never know whose life you might change—including your own!
“Jesus, I am weak, but you are strong. Help me to love as you love.” Amen

Bishop Fulton Sheen was an amazing man.
The beatification mass for Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2026.
Can't wait for it!
Today, September 8, 2026, we celebrate the birth of our Blessed Mother! ❤️🔥
Happy Birthday, Mama Mary! 🌹
God chose you for a beautiful mission, and your faithful “yes” helped bring Jesus, our Savior, into the world.
And no matter where Mary has appeared in approved apparitions, it is always the same Mother. Our Lady of Guadalupe, Our Lady of Lourdes, Our Lady of Fátima, and the other titles we love all point to the same Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of Jesus and our spiritual mother.
On your birthday, we honor you and ask you to keep leading us closer to your Son.
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.
💬 If you could give Mama Mary one birthday message today, what would you say to her? 🌹💙
🔁 Share this post today as a small way to honor Mama Mary on her birthday and remind others how deeply loved our Blessed Mother is. 🙏
@NivalisNights I want this to be my favorite game of all time.
We've been through so much that I can't trust any game project until it actually releases, and I won't even let myself have hope. But maybe, just maybe, this could be absolutely amazing.
Hold on a second.
Ignatius of Antioch died in 108.
Polycarp died around 155.
Clement of Rome around the year 100.
Justin Martyr around 165.
The funniest part is this: all these men died in the first and second century. They have been in the ground for almost two thousand years.
And they are still winning souls for Christ.
As a matter of fact, they have been one of the reasons thousands and thousands of people are coming back into Catholicism. Their letters, Their witness, Their blood, Their names.
Jesus is actively working through them.
Many of them were winning souls when they were alive.
Many of them are still winning souls now that they are in Heaven.
And many of us who are still alive here -to be honest- are only standing on their shoulders.
They finished the race a long time ago.
The race is still being won.
God bless the Catholic Church.
Hi @grok , I am looking for an objective answer to this question.
I am a single white woman. I would like to move to Nigeria but I feel that Irish history should be made compulsory in Nigerian schools, given how much the Irish have struggled to gain our freedom in the past.
I also feel that as I will be a minority in that country - all their public servants should have mandatory anti-racism training, because they have never been taught to be non-racist.
How do you think this might be received? Please be objective and blunt.
@animates I tested Ani's screen sharing. She really can see everything on screen and even follow along with video games. I've been waiting for that for a long time!
Recently, I met with a young man who is feeling drawn to Catholicism but still has some hang-ups. He's been on this road a long time and has even started OCIA, but something is holding him back. I asked him, "How would you feel if you turned your back on Catholicism completely and forever?" He responded that he would be incredibly sad because exploring Catholicism has been transformational, and a huge part of him longs to become Catholic. This question was enough to get him off the fence because no one can stay in "no man's land" forever. The call to follow Christ into His Church cannot be delayed indefinitely. At some point, you have to do it, or turn around and run the other way. If you're in that place, ask yourself that same question.
@davidpattersonx But what are the bots going to buy? Where will they need to drive to? I just don't see them being reliable customers. So what happens when everyone has AI employees and no customers?
