@luinalaska Ever been tested for ADHD? I did, and it changed my world- not only ADHD, but I was Dx’d as avoidant, depressed, PTSD and anxiety. Put a lot of perspective into my life at 37 years old
@Sequoia_01@zohaaa It’s not… I know someone who at the age of 40 still talks about how one of their parents humiliated them while in front of their (parents) friends. It lasts a lifetime
@9400BCE@ScottAdamsSays This is exactly why I’m happy where I’m living. The only downfall is the winter season, but there is plenty of firewood to be foraged. Water- abundant. Forest-abundant. Wildlife and fauna- abundant. People- not so much. I think we have 10 people per square mile.
@thejukeboxluke@Snarkage1@ItsMrsRabbitToU@JulieDo24718056 It’s not only limited to price!! I was looking at purchasing some corporate logo wear the other day, and The North Face explicitly states that their garments can’t be used for companies in energy, tobacco, gambling, firearms, pornography.
@605Strats@jillsdeal@mootinator@peruvian_bull The ADHD affected my ability to learn math and process mathematical equations. I just thought I was dumb. Now I find out it is pretty common amongst us neurodivergent folks. 🥴
@605Strats@jillsdeal@mootinator@peruvian_bull I actually disagree with this. I (at 37) was diagnosed with ADHD. I never knew I was intelligent until I took the ASVAB and scored a 91 at 20 years old. Around 28 I had a psych friend administer IQ test- 129. I never understood it, but found out I’m a fast processor and memory 👍
