This is what I've always liked about the Pokemon Anime. It's realistic. Ash's Journey feels genuine. He loses, but keeps on trying, and gradually gets better. People have joked about Ash for years, but fail to realise it's a very realistic interpretation of becoming #1. #Anipoke
@JEM__stones I disagree. They're all different types, which gives options to a variety of different strategies Ash would have to overcome. Whether it's cool or not is just subjective, but I do think Ash vs a powerful unevolved Eevee would have been cool.
@dezzymond@Akilvers He was a beginner trainer back then.
The following feats he accomplished over the next 6 regions that he travelled were earned genuinely and with skill.
These feats were very high tournament placements, achieving more than most people ever do in their lifetime.
I want to give a massive thanks to the animators for making Ash's last battle the greatest it can be. With Journeys having a rough production cycle during its final year, I'm glad that they still manage to deliver one of if not the best animated episode in the series.
@Weiss31922082@Akilvers The worst part of XY is without a doubt all of the miserable people like yourself who came out of the works to trash on the people who do enjoy it. Little bit of advice for you: Read the room. If someone is expressing how much they enjoy something, don't chime in with negativity.
@bingaroonie0611 @YonkoCC What makes you say this?
I consider Ash vs Roxie a terrible battle.
- 6v3 seemed incredibly unfair and devalued Ash's win.
- Roxie heals up Pignite's poison devaluing Ash's win.
- Ash struggled immensely.
- Static was a convenient deus ex machina moment.
@Diegazbro@ChampionBlaze25 FYI: Evolving isn't aging. Unevolved Pokemon are known to become elderly. Pokemon simply take on new forms to become stronger/adapt to surroundings. Hell some Pokemon simply fuse together like Slowpoke and Shelder, or three Magnemite. Evolution doesn't equal age in Pokemon.

@Diegazbro@ChampionBlaze25 Pedantic, but sure - if you're in the Pokemon World, your answer remains as expected.
You admit you wouldn't force your Pokemon to evolve. That is all there to it. You realise it's wrong to go about the wishes of your partner.
So why rag on Ash if your understand this?

@Diegazbro@ChampionBlaze25 Sigh, these types of comments always show up in Ash related conversations.
I have one simple question for you:
If Pokemon were real, would you force your partners to physically change against their will just to win a tournament?
@SatoSereKasu Ash is confused at Alain's betrayal, almost in disbelief. At which point Team Flare take advantage of his vulnerability.
What's so bad about this scene?
@SatoSereKasu What even is this complaint? π€£
I swear people try to bash on XY Ash for anything. At the very least have it make sense with some form of justification to why it's 'ridiculous'.
@JoeMerrick @BladesTwisted I'm playing DPR and I'm having a good time, but this game fully looks and performs like a GameCube game. That doesn't make it bad, but with a runtime of 8-12 hours - and with this level of quality - Β£40 is horrendous. Praise the game, but don't defend this kind of pricing Joe.
@kaijukisser @PKM_Nagurzki Agreed.
The game *does* include Hidden Area Zero. Just because Part 2 isn't on the cartridge doesn't mean it's false advertising. It just means it's a scummy marketing move from Nintendo to make more sales before Christmas rather than simply wait to include it physically.
@SatoSereKasu @Precita85@AlolanSol Not really sure what you're asking here. Please elaborate.
Pikachu has been known to get Electricity power surges at the start of sagas, and yes he lost in XY to an experienced Gym Leaders Pokemon that used a strategy that threw him off guard. Not sure what the correlation is.
