Brad Stevens has a sign in his office with three questions.
1) What do you want?
2) What's true?
3) How do you get there?
This is a great framework for coaches or leaders to evaluate themselves and their teams, especially after a disappointing outcome.
It forces you to define the destination, confront the current (and honest) reality, and identify a plan for how to close the gap.
Great leaders (and teams) don’t just review their results. They study their gaps and use the truth as the starting point for growth.

Life rarely changes in a positive way without an increase in responsibility.
That can mean taking ownership of your health or committing to a relationship or starting a business.
Whatever it is, if you want the trajectory to change, the amount of responsibility usually has to change.
I’m entirely convinced that the key to life and happiness is having low expectations for things outside your control and high expectations for things within it.
Speak to yourself with kindness. Don’t drag yourself down with negativity to shield you from what others might say. As for others… ignore them. Who are they to tell you what you can be?
You are good enough. You are worthy, & you deserve all you’ve worked for. God put far too much time into you for you to fail. Speak to life into yourself every single day until you believe it all… There’s no limits on what you can achieve.

Christmas eve quote:
“It's so simple, yet makes such a difference. Pretend that every single person you meet has a sign around his or her neck that says, 'Make me feel important.'”
-Mary Kay Ash
You are the problem to everything in your life. You are the solution to everything in your life as well. The faster you learn that the faster your life becomes better.
This Ray Davis piece by CBS Evening News is well done.
I got to know Ray during the Combine and his story is simply inspiring. Worth the watch this AM.
Confidence isn’t something you’re born with—it’s something you earn. Every time you step into that pit in your stomach, take that leap out of your comfort zone, you’re building a stronger, more resilient version of yourself. Everything good for you lies just beyond that edge of comfort. Trust the process, embrace the discomfort, and watch yourself grow into the most confident version of YOU.
What’s one step you can take today to push yourself out of your comfort zone?

Are you holding yourself to the same standard you expect from others?
True accountability means understanding that your leadership sets the tone for everyone around you, and that your willingness to take responsibility is what builds trust, credibility, and impact.
