Amazing, hardworking and passionate teachers are leaving the profession because they are undervalued and are working for a broken system. Schools are majorly underfunded and are in crisis. The English government are failing our children. @GillianKeegan

If you are are a teacher saying you can’t afford to strike, I agree. I also know my dad had 3 kids (me one of them) and went out to strike so you could have your PPA. Imagine not having PPA. He lost wages for that. And you now Benefit as a teacher.

Then after dinner and time with our own children, we then work until (a very late) bed time. Weekends are never free of work and ‘all those holidays’ are not paid for, without planning, gathering resources (paid for by us)…
