In 2016, a Somalian suicide bomber brought explosives onto a commercial flight with the intent of blowing up the plane. Twenty minutes after takeoff, the explosives detonated and blasted a hole in the side of the plane. The bomber was instantly sucked out and ended up being the only fatality.
