We are honoured to virtually host @MaksimG Feb 3 in honour of #IHRD. This event highlights a family narrative of oppression, erasure and a process of reclaiming identity.
We invite @yrdsb community to register & join us in this important learning. https://t.co/FSF2NwOqhV
You want to talk about teacher absenteeism @Sflecce and @fordnation? Here's a thought...maybe if you didn't push educators over the edge they wouldn't, you know, fall off the edge.
Do NOT ask students where they went or what they did in the summer. For students of low SES, many dreaded the first day questions from teachers. This is far more #inclusive.
I hope @yrdsb can move to a similar policy quickly. Library Learning Commons resources are imperative for innovative, holistic student achievement. #TeacherLIbrarians@oslacouncil
@NikCotterOCT @mslongpre @JBradshaw01@metromorning Yes!! Daycare, bussing, and family/friend social circles will make cohorts ineffective. Not to mention shared bathrooms, stairwells, and doorways.
The evolving #COVID19 situation may have a significant impact on people's stress & anxiety. We've put together evidence-based tips, tools & info to help you manage your #mentalhealth. Stay safe & strong! #MentalhealthIsHealth
