@uncledoomer As a child I was reading The Odyssey and my mom took me to the dealership to get a car. The salesman noticed my book and was like “Hey, we have a car we sell here called Odyssey.” I said “Why would you name a car after a disastrous journey?” And then he stopped talking to me
@rikaidou John Travolta was one of the bullies as his second role in the 1976 Carrie. Maybe this is what the actress wanted to showcase her talents. And playing a villain tends to be more fun.
@bf_crane It’s been a hot minute since I read it but I believe there was one dude in the source material who really did want to be with Penelope. The rest were there for the rager/taking the throne I guess
@biderman420 I remember the moment when I was 13 and stronger than my mom finally. She tried to hit me and I caught her hand and she couldn’t wrench out of my grip. She never tried to hit me again, though she did still throw stuff at me on occasion
@tmavuram When I was on the apps I had a guy message me ahead of our first date asking if we get along on the date (which we had not gone on yet) if I would like to come back to his place after. I said no and asked if we could make it lunch instead of dinner and he never responded
@stealth_riot I used to live in a building next to Planned Parenthood and those losers would yell at me and sometimes guests before realizing I was just going home for the day.
