How many innocent Palestinians killed is acceptable to rescue Israeli hostages?

Israeli missions that indiscriminately kill a large number of innocent Palestinians to rescue a few hostages should raise moral and ethical questions about its tactics.

In fact successful rescue missions are few and far between. The vast majority of Israeli hostages (105) have been released in negotiations and as a result of temporary ceasefires. And let’s not forget that Israel killed three Israeli hostages.

The families of Israeli hostages have been adamant that the best way to release ALL of the hostages is through a ceasefire deal, not military raids.
