I have decided to stop the FPL Impulse YouTube channel.

Over the last few months I realised I mainly enjoy sharing my own team, and as I moved towards only doing that I was not really adding anything useful for people watching.

My channel analytics back that up and it is completely fair.

I will still play FPL because I enjoy it, I just do not see the point in posting team updates on YouTube if I am not offering more than that.

Thanks to everyone who watched or supported the channel at any point. I really appreciate it 🫶

It's at the point of the pre season where I really start missing doing YouTube FPL content.

But I just know I'll get bored again of creating videos talking about useful stuff like data to highlight best picks, and other content all the top creators already cover so much better.

And viewers (understandably) get bored of me just talking about my team all the time, giving no real value back to those watching.

Wish I had some amazing idea where I could create something I enjoy doing long-term and gave some real value back to people 😅

I have found a team I absolutely love!

Very subject to preseason as a few players could be minutes risks (for now), but I get to Bench Boost GW1 and the fixtures are incredible for this team over the first 6-7 gameweeks at least.

My plan this year is to take a step back from spending too much time obsessing over FPL, so I'm going to make a conscious effort to stay away from watching and reading too much content from now until the week the season starts so I don't tie myself up in knots like I usually do...

...and avoid changing my team a million times 😂

Could be interesting for FPL because MacPhee is creative and comes up with some genuinely interesting set piece routines

Just not sure how easy they are to predict who will be the main beneficiaries

I'll be honest, lots of people are saying "the game is too easy", but I haven't seen a single Bruno + Haaland + Gabriel draft that I actually like.

Even most Bruno + Haaland drafts I don't think look great and they lack balance imo -but that could just be because we haven't had any exciting enablers emerge yet.
