@braunold I mean just the 2024 Iran direct strikes on Israel, when Biden managed to contain those exchanges and avoid all-out regional war. Not surprisingly, Trump has bungled into the reality of it being way tougher to contain/prevent regional war if you're the one who instigated it!

@mdvannostrand @bigdogpistons1 @TheFrankIsola That's still less than the Bucks would have to pay to extend Giannis. He has great value in the regular season, which would clearly help them. He has no value against Wemby, but while that clearly concerns OKC, it doesn't matter to the Bucks.

@bigdogpistons1 @TheFrankIsola I think so, yes...BUT Wemby and the Spurs are likely to get even better going forward, and you quite clearly will never get anything from Chet against Wemby. Trading him for Giannis now makes a lot of sense for maximizing SGA's prime.

@lawyer_sgood @DragonflyJonez But this is the original point - comparing Mitchell to Mbappe is ridiculous! The NBA equivalent of Mbappe's speed+strength would be much closer to LeBron. Mitchell is more like Rodrygo - a great player, but if he's your top star there's a limit to how much you can expect to win.

@kampeas Credit for ending it now, but he also could've told Bibi no on restarting the war in March. And in another world where Trump wasn't politicizing everything, he'd have told Bibi in spring/summer 2024 "you won't get a better deal from me than from Biden" and it would've ended then.

@ZivGuy It really should not surprise people that the end result of Bibi always conducting Israel-US relations as a partisan Republican is that he ultimately takes orders from Trump, just like every GOPer in the US does.

@TomDohertyfilm Wikipedia lists the three actual founders but also adds Myrna Loy as a fourth, with no citations for any of them. Is the claim that she was a founder any closer to the facts?
