Together with the IGAD team, it was a pleasure to meet on the sidelines of the @AfDB_Group Annual Meeting in Nairobi Excellency Ben Marc Diendere, Canada Permanent Representative to the African Union. 🇨🇦

Extensive discussions on the Peace and Security of the Region, and how Canada’s illustrious history in Peacekeeping, Mediation and Reconciliation can be leveraged to address the challenges of the Region. Also discussed were the impact of climate change on livelihoods, especially those of pastoralists and marginalized communities.
