@dizzee_bee @JojojoGame Victoria is on a massive mountain range from extinct volcanoes and mountains make the ground less stable and cause mini faults and cause we have so many it creates a loooot of faults so we're just super unstable down here which is why we've gotten earthquakes before too

@xxminie @JojojoGame It wasnt from somewhere else! it was from our fault lines all throughout Vic caused by the extinct volcanoes everywhere here, the mountains cause the fault lines which means when neighbouring plate pushes against ours itll put force on the faults and cause a quake

@voidrantsback A good analogy I saw that makes sense in my brain is if you push on the sides of a cracker (edges of the tectonic plates) of course the edges will crush but with enough force it'll break in the centre too due to air bubbles (faults) in the cracker

@voidrantsback Pretty much it's because of all the extinct volcanoes throughout Vic that causes so many fault line through our state so when the edge of a neighbouring plate pushes against ours it puts pressure on our faults which cause the earthquakes
