The Roads Authority (RA) has warned motorists between Windhoek and Rehoboth to exercise caution, as the road – approximately 30 km from Rehoboth towards Windhoek – is currently submerged under water due to recent heavy rainfall.

Motorists travelling in the area are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution, reduce speed, and remain alert at all times.

Drivers are further urged not to attempt to cross flooded sections of the road where water levels are high, as this may be dangerous.

The RA says it is monitoring the situation and will provide updates as necessary.
