Every day, our uniformed officers work tirelessly to keep our customers safe. Our @BTP-accredited Railway Security & Safeguarding Officers on the Elizabeth line are always on hand to provide support and reassurance whenever it’s needed.

Recently, they were alerted to a situation involving a passenger who was being filmed and made to feel uncomfortable. Acting swiftly, our officers prioritised the passenger’s welfare and intervened immediately. Thanks to their quick thinking and decisive action, the individual was detained and later arrested by the police.

This is just one example of the vital work our officers undertake every day, and it highlights the strong partnership we share with our policing colleagues to ensure the safety and security of everyone we serve.

3,000 zero-emission buses are now running on London’s streets. That’s the largest green bus fleet in Western Europe, growing 100-fold in under ten years.

We’re on course for two thirds of the fleet to be zero-emission in under five years - we’ll keep going until the whole fleet is green.
