#Dawn management must immediately clear legally mandated annual staff bonus it has been holding back since Dec 15 without any communication. Staff & their families have already suffered years of paycuts, trimmed medical & other benefits. This Eid must not be a day of mourning.

Dawn newspaper profit rose by almost 30pc in FY22 despite economic slump...but the management continues extorting it's staffers by not reversing 40pc paycut. PHPL CEO had promised to reverse the paycut by DEC2019...time has come to fulfil the promise....

The Dawn management has increased newspaper prices but has yet not reversed the 41-month paycut and paid 8th WBA arrears despite making huge profits. Seems ignorant to sufferings of workers and their families who couldn't endure harsh and painful skyrocketing inflation anymore
