تتعالى الأصوات المطالِبة بمقاطعة الإمارات في المعارض الدولية المقامة في لندن، بسبب تورطها في جرائم حرب في إفريقيا ووجوب محاسبتها على المجازر التي راح ضحيتها الأطفال والنساء والمدنيون الأبرياء في السودان، حيث تدعم مليشيا الدعم السريع بقيادة حميدتي دقلو.

كما أثار تدخل الإمارات في السودان ودعمها المزعوم لأبي أحمد في إثيوبيا غضبًا دوليًا واسعًا.

وقد تصاعدت دعوات المقاطعة بشكل ملحوظ، خاصة في الفعاليات والمعارض الدولية المقامة في لندن.
