My PS3 lost ability to produce HDMI output. The IC was in short. Removal of old one with success. Let's test my ability to resolder a new one without proper tools 😅
And it worked!!!!! HMDI functional again. Only problem is my hdmi cable is too big and as inducing noise. The short one works perctly, but has only 30 cm
@RueNahcMohr This from the same website. I tested in past with a bf245. It works pretty nice! It's worth testing
You need to rectify the output. Use fasT diodes or germanium ones. Modern implementations use a IC to do the dc conversion with a perfect usage of the wave, without the cut of dio
@gordoslair This specific model is prone to die. The motor driver stop working and catch fire. I had 2 that die and I had to look around eBay to buy other ones to save the disk content!
@int_16h I remember finding out this page in the later days(2000 something)! That is a marvell being done via discrete parts and ttl! The input try to do a very narrow band filtering to avoid a lot the noises. From the 1 bit adc to the processing that was light into mt eyes!!!!
