I have a few announcements related to HERO:

1) We just burned another 131,800 HERO 🔥

2) From now on, given that I am super busy, I will start burning HERO once a week. Nothing changes with the methodology of the burn. At least 50% of the Revenue of HERO will be burned in a fully deflationary model.

3) Phase 2 ends in 1 week = next Sunday.

Another reduction of the $ICP inflation⬇️
Proposal 142724 has passed✅

Node providers who did not respond to either of the two smoke tests (more context in one of my last videos) will be subject to a 50% reduction of node rewards for a period of three months.

The intent of this measure is to ensure that node rewards remain aligned with operational readiness and the resilience expectations set out in the node provider standards.

DFINITY has not voted on this proposal.

Finally, unresponsive $ICP Node providers will start getting 50% less Node Rewards ⬇️

🚨Proposal 142724:

Two incident response smoke tests were conducted to assess whether $ICP node providers can be reached within a reasonable time during a potential subnet recovery situation.

As an enforcement measure, this motion proposes that node providers who did not respond to either of the two smoke tests should be subject to a 50% reduction of node rewards for a period of three months.

The intent of this measure is to ensure that node rewards remain aligned with operational readiness and the resilience expectations set out in the node provider standards.

This proposal creates the second TEE-enabled subnet on the IC to provide confidential computing. Initially, it is intended to host the upcoming MULTI/DEX, which benefits from the stronger security and confidentiality properties that this environment provides.

The subnet is formed from 7 nodes spread across 7 node providers and 7 jurisdictions. All 7 nodes are SEV-enabled.
