• Found web answers beating our 113K-file manual library 7:1 → traced it to semantically-dead embeddings, not missing docs
• Usable retrieval hits: 2.5 → 7.3 per query
• 1,249 fault codes × 76 brands now resolve deterministically — exact lookup, zero hallucination
• Audited our troubleshooting pages and deleted every code we couldn’t trace to a real manual (then added 254 grounded ones)
• Every answer now ships with a tool trace + latency + grounding source
