You have to post every day or even few times a day actually, but this is for bigger accounts, there was good free X growth guide from some guy and his strategy for small was to be a "reply in comments" person, and this actually works, your replies shown to more ppl, drive more likes to the post, show to more ppl... Maybe we’re looking at art direction from different angles. I don’t think its main instrument is the process itself. I think it’s judgment and feeling.
What should someone feel before they even read the copy? How much information belongs on one screen, what storytelling? Which image, color, rhythm or composition feels right for this particular story and context?
People who even aren’t designers can often tell immediately when something feels alive, coherent or completely soulless, even if they can’t explain why. That ability to sense why and then intentionally shape it is much closer to what I mean by art direction.

I think there’s a ceiling to how far a company can grow when the founder believes they have to be the best at everything.
Early on, doing the design yourself makes perfect sense , especially when there’s no budget and you need to move fast. An art director is definitely not for every early-stage startup.
But at some point, control becomes the bottleneck. A founder can’t be the best person in finance, product, marketing and art at the same time. Growth also means recognizing when someone else can take an area further than you can.
