Summary of the AGS news YouTube video just went live (https://t.co/yncTWK2qbK) but here's some more personal thoughts I want to add to this situation:

New World was a passion project for it's dev team, and no matter what the naysayers may naysay, it showed.
From the community managers, systems designers, concept and environment artists like Lydia, Joel, Raelynn, Josh, etc to the senior designers and leads like Katy, Dave, Scot, Rachel, etc, and even then to those we've seen come and go like Sky and Shadowfox etc, everyone of them gave their heart to this game.

Aeternum is the world they built and the story they told, and my heartfelt sorrow goes out to them, and also my heartfilled thanks. It's been a home for so many of us for almost 5 years now, and it's a home I don't know how to say goodbye to, even though I know I will soon have to.

To every single New World creator, I want to say: be proud. I've seen so many of you make a name for yourselves here, and not a single one of those names is anything less than awesome. I've seen @JayOddity go from a new, casual player in The Shire/The Rabbits who had never turned on a webcam, to a full-time content creator. I've seen the ultimate girl squad form, spearheaded by @rozilol and Linda etc to take PvP and Wars by storm. I've seen so many of us gain traction and support from the kind of sponsors we'd always dreamed of.

There's so many people I want to thank, but a couple of honourable mentions of the top of my head are:
@DannehTV, @kanonbei, I'm honoured to share an agency and a gaming space with you.
@TrickTrickms, you're a brother and a true friend.
@YaBoiWiilly, you're the most refreshing, heart-on-sleeve guy, and I hope you never change.
@MikaOSRS, you were my first rival, and the best I could've asked for. Your company made The Shire rage and go full tryhard in wars in ways I will really miss.

@playnewworld you were an adventure I'll be forever grateful for.
