@usenaive still has not paid me for work I completed months ago.

I’ve been trying to get paid since May. It is now the end of August.

I’ve contacted them through the Slack channel they created, by email, LinkedIn, X, and other social media.

No reply. No update. Nothing.

I tried to handle this privately for months and gave them plenty of chances to respond or simply pay what I am owed.

They chose not to respond.

What makes this even more frustrating is that they recently announced a $28.5M Series A.

A company that can raise $28.5M should not have creators spending months chasing payment for completed work.

And I’m not the only one raising concerns.

I’m aware of creators across X, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other platforms who say they have had similar payment issues with @usenaive and the people behind it.

Creators: be careful. Do your research before working with them.

One more thing for current and former users to be aware of:

I’ve heard from customers who subscribed before the product was rebranded as “Naive” and say they continued to be charged after the previous platform was no longer available to them. Some also say they were unable to cancel through that old platform.

And if the product is ever rebranded or moved to another platform again, make sure you know what happens to your existing subscription. You do not want to end up in a situation where you are still being charged for a service you can no longer access or cannot easily cancel.
