being early helps, but i’m not sure it makes the frontier labs too late
if the same job gets handled inside the workflow with less setup and same cheap cost, people have a reason to switch again
isn't that what's been happening, every few weeks something comes up, people go crazy, integrations start, then something better replaces it
and the cycle repeats
Announcing dots. Dots work 24/7 for you, learn from your feedback, have their own computer, browser and can be connected to over 4k apps in our ecosystem.
They’re powered by Astra our best model yet. Included in your Pro plan, without drawing down on any of your usage. You can even call a dot while it’s working.
We’re getting you started with your primary dot today and soon you’ll be able to create entire teams of them.
when someone tells you they use your side project everyday
it feels good. especially when you were not sure if anyone else would find it useful
later you're about to remove a feature you don't need anymore. but you pause, thinking they might still be using it
you start thinking about whether to check with them first, or add another way to do the same thing
they haven't asked you to keep anything working for them, but you start feeling you don't want to break something they've come to rely on
i think i'd miss that freedom a little, but i'd still be happy that something i built mattered enough to someone for me to worry about changing it
@GergelyOrosz@Pragmatic_Eng thanks for sharing this gergely. would love to read case studies of teams using agents on existing mobile apps, specially what they still insist on doing themselves
gpt-6 sol and astra are terribly slow today for me
tiny ui work is taking anywhere from 10-40 minutes
just printing the response on screen is taking upto 10 minutes
anyone else seeing this?
