IIT Kharagpur, 2011. Since then I have started three companies and closed one of them.
Education first, tutoring and study products that taught me how hard distribution really is. Then Cogxio, a consumer app I shut in 2016 when it stopped making sense. That one taught me more than either of the wins.
In 2018 I started Artivatic: AI that made underwriting, fraud and claims decisions for insurers, not dashboards about them. Four people to more than two hundred. Insurers and health partners across India, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. RenewBuy acquired us in 2022 and I ran product and growth there until last month.
What I keep relearning: the technology is almost never the constraint. Getting a regulated buyer to change one step of a process they already run, that is the whole job.
I am building again. I also like meeting founders early, so if you are building something hard in India, my DMs are open.
I will write here about AI that has to survive a real process, about product and startups, and about the parts of building that nobody puts in the deck.
@RajeevRC_X@elonmusk@RajeevRC_X but there is Duopoly in India for telecom. Even pays for non usage of data, while India should
Maintain itโs sovereignty but currently telecom is on their own way, wherever to increase price, signal gets drop in 2026 in metro cities,
@AstasiaMyers This is fairly Agree. Web got replaced with Apps, website didnโt shutdown, Apps are now being replaced or say new form as Personal Agents.
Personal agents canโt bring the experience but they can bring back
Some time as you rightly said for check-in, updates for delay etc.
The same thing is available in ChatGPT, Claude and all. The challenge is you can book but who will do after sales service which OTA does. Getting each agreement, exclusive prices, entire booking infra which OTA gives. These personal agents good for compare, search but booking yet will take time.
QCommerce in India is big Hit but getting still to the Tier 2 and beyond is nightmare and 90% people still buy offline. No doubt the market still big for QComm.
.@Sonderling47: "I am hereby suspending from the Permanent Labor Certification Program some of the largest IT outsourcing firms in the world โ Cognizant, Infosys, Tata, Wipro, HCL, and Capgemini โ and also, due to multiple active federal investigations, @USDOL is suspending Microsoft and Adobe from the program."
