@Camdenchild @Mlu__N2 Mostly not the case, but in some states kinda. Relies entirely on what state the crime happened in. The few states that have removed limitations usually reserve it for crimes of this nature against minors specifically. A few states will wave statutes for DNA evidence.

@O4fukssakeChris @gimmedatjayy I don’t think it’s valid to say that it is often the only way to end the pain. In rare cases it’s the only way to end pain. Many more people find themselves on the other side of chronic depression with the right treatment.

@O4fukssakeChris @gimmedatjayy Electroconvulsive therapy has been shown to be extremely effective on chronic depression (my friend said it was life changing). Ketamine is showing a lot of promise. I’ve even seen support animals radically change people who previously dreamt of dying since they were small.

@DanMKervick @SocDoneLeft There was overlapping appeal between Trump and Bernie- Trump even said he had “some good ideas” to pander. Had DNC allowed a populist candidate the way RNC did we’d be in a dif country. US isn’t more right- the left didn’t vote cause the populist candidate was pushed out.

@LocalBateman Can’t imagine turn of phrase invoking that much anger. People who call it brain rot are bitter because they don’t speak the language. Every generation, his included, participated in slang that would go on to be common place. It’s a core component of etymology/ language over time.
