I’m sick to my stomach. Congress just excluded one of the poorest demographics from the largest economic stimulus package in the history of the world. Are you a college student whose parents still claim you as a dependent? Well you get absolutely nothing from the stimulus bill.

One year I worked 55+ hours a week between 3 jobs while taking 19-21 credit hours a semester. I hated life needless to say.

@NimeshPatel101 @warmfourloko Don’t disagree with you but I still think it’s something we can do right now that only takes a couple minutes. I don’t see enough people getting on board with a general strike until later down the road, if ever.

@mjjordan1798 @warmfourloko Not sure this will change things for me since I was considered a dependent for 2019 since I just graduated this December, but other people may benefit from it. Either way, this bill is still leaving out a huge group of people in financial crisis.

If you have a car loan and have been affected economically by coronavirus, call your bank or creditor and ask to get a deferment! Make sure you specifically mention coronavirus. I was able to get mine deferred for 3 months with no extra interest.

Young adults who can be claimed as dependents (pretty much all college students), will not be getting a stimulus check as the bill stands! Please call your Representative and have them fix this (you can use my script). Most of us lost our jobs and need this for basic necessities.
